Co-organised by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and National Book Development Council of Singapore (NBDCS), the sharing session will feature guest speaker Lee Kok Leong, an active researcher of the culture and history of local communities.

After spending six years studying the lives of “majies”, who were nannies and domestic helpers working in Singapore between the 1930s and 1970s, Mr Lee will share his research and experience writing the book, Canton Mah Cheh《广东妈姐》.
