Wushu Fitness sessions will revolve around stretching, balancing and strengthening of the body as well as hand-body-and-leg coordination. Basic Wushu movements will be taught by certified Wushu instructors with the Singapore Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation, and coaches from the National Registry of Coaches (NROC).

A 60-minute fitness session will include activities such as:

  • Warm up exercise and stretching (flexibility)
  • Basic Wushu movements (basic stances)
  • Hand and leg coordination (punching and kicking)
  • Body posture, self-defense styles
  • Cool down exercise

This programme is part of Energize@SCCC, a series of active and wellness programmes brought to you by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.

 

 

Parking is available at the SCCC. Parking fee: $3.50 per entry (Mon – Fri after 5pm , Sat & Sun whole day)
