Uncles Love Monuments is a travelling exhibition which features works of three talented sketch enthusiasts whose love for Singapore’s heritage icons and passion for drawing help to document and showcase some of our monumental treasures in a different light.
This travelling exhibition is part of Our SG Heritage Plan’s strategy to promote greater awareness of Our National Monuments and the National Heritage Board’s Silver Hubs initiative which seeks to create opportunities for the silver community to give back to society through heritage.
Singapore’s National Monuments serve as tangible reminders of Singapore’s built heritage and anchors of the Singapore Story. From places of worship to institutions of higher learning, our monuments provide us with a better understanding of our shared history, cultural heritage and progress as a nation.
