A brand new commissioned work by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and produced by RuanAtWorkz Musical Arts, theatrical recital Night Walker will blend five unlikely artistic components – Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam, Chinese musical instrument Ruan, electronic music, contemporary movement, and traditional Chinese time-keeping method – to present a riveting showcase that spotlights our distinct local culture.

Follow a troubled composer, a curious night elf, and a tireless sound designer on their journey through the five stages of the night that showcase parallels of daily life. At each stage of the night, an immersive experience awaits while the performance picks up pace (and pitch) to depict the rise, fall and the reborn of the Ruan! Don’t miss out on this refreshingly unique take on our local performing arts, and enjoy the spontaneity on stage!
